There are a handful of companies offering free business cards to consumers, in order to allow them to get introduced to business cards, to allow consumers to sample the quality of their product, and most of the time also to act as a marketing tool for them. Most free business cards will feature a small advertisement for the company sending the free business cards, and others will put receivers on a customer list and continue to market products to the receivers of the free business cards. Whether there is any need for free business cards is debatable, with people arguing that free business cards are not really that great as they look cheap with advertisements on them, and also as business cards are hardly that expensive for most businesses anyway.
